About our Agency:
I’ve been a State Farm agent in Germantown, MD for four years, but this community has been home for much longer — I lived here for 14 years and even went to high school here. Before opening my agency, I spent seven years as a bank manager and, before that, managed a health club in Gaithersburg. With about 20 years of experience in sales and customer service, I understand the importance of consistency, hard work, and building genuine relationships.

Our team of six shares that same philosophy — that anyone can achieve their goals with dedication and the right mindset. We focus on coaching, development, and accountability. I’m looking for someone coachable, willing to learn, and ready to take action. Skills can be taught, but drive and a positive attitude are what truly lead to success.

We offer 10 personal days off, a local gym membership, salary plus commission and monthly bonuses, as well as quarterly bonuses that can total around $6,000 per year. ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As an Customer Relations Representative - State Farm Agent Team Member for Miguel Malca - State Farm Agent, you are vital to our daily business operations and customers’ success. You grow our agency through meaningful client relations and acting as a liaison between customer needs and agency departments. You improve the lives of our customers by proactively marketing relevant products and services.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
  • Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification
  • Promote successful and long-lasting customer relations. 
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in sales (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
  • Experience managing client relationships is preferred
  • Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs
  • Excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening
  • Dedicated to customer service
  • Able to anticipate customer needs
  • Able to effectively relate to a customer
  • Bilingual Spanish (required)

Compensación: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
